I grew up in Baldwin, and one of my formative experiences as a very young child was going to Nunley's amusement park, where the famous carousel resided. The Wurlitzer music and delight of the kids and adults there conjured an earlier era, even all those decades ago. This image, printed from a watercolor painting I made, shows one of my favorite horses, a powerful masked palomino.
